Why Join PRSA?
As a PRSA member, you become part of the nation's largest organization of communications professionals, with nearly 20,000 members nationwide. Learn from colleagues throughout the nation at PRSA's annual national conference, use the national PRSA Information Center to research or quickly get up to speed on a breaking problem or program. Plus, you'll receive the organization's monthly publication, Public Relations Tactics, which offers informative articles and case studies relating to our profession.
National membership to the Public Relations Society of America puts powerful tools into the hands the PR practitioner. All these tools can found at www.prsa.org.
Becoming a member of PRSA's Arkansas Chapter opens that door of opportunity to expand your professional horizons through professional development, educational, and networking activities. We also strive to bring the very best in our annual professional development seminars with top public relations leaders and dynamic speakers for our monthly luncheon meetings. Plus, the best of the best are awarded in our annual award programs.
Other benefits of PRSA Arkanas Chapter membership include the following:
Speaker Luncheons
Regional and national speakers every third Friday of the month at the Little Rock Club (30th Floor of the Regions Building in downtown Little Rock), starting at noon.
Professional Services
A source to go to when seeking some career counseling and guidance, finding a mentor, resume development, and assistance for displaced members caused by a layoff or termination. Professional Services is also a source for those who seek the services of Arkansas' finest public relations freelancers and where freelancers can go to place their services.

The Accredited in Public Relations qualification is highly encouraged and the chapter provides information and assistance to achieve it. To find more information about Accreditation, click here.
Job Bank
The chapter lists the most current public relations jobs available in Arkansas and the surrounding area.
Committees
Are you interested in making an impact for public relations? Members have the opportunity to become public relations activists when they serve on the board or on any of the committees the chapter has to offer.
Fifth Thursday
Members and future members are encouraged to meet in various places within the Little Rock metropolitan area in months that have a Fifth Thursday and network with public relations practitioners. Meeting places are announced here and in e-mail updates sent to members.
We strongly encourage Public Relations Student Society of America members to join the national PRSA and the chapter directly after graduation partly because of the cost benefits of joining, in addition to all those benefits listed above.
