The Prism Awards are the top honor for outstanding work in the field of public relations in Arkansas. The Arkansas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America recognizes commendable public relations programs and the skills of Arkansas practitioners, companies and organizations.

The program also encourages improved public relations, professionalism, performance and techniques. The competition is open to members and nonmembers of the PRSA Arkansas Chapter. Visit ArkPRSA.org for more details.

2009 Fall APR Study Series to Begin Sept. 1 

Isn’t it time you earned your APR?

PRSA Arkansas Chapter is offering a nine-week comprehensive study course beginning this fall for those interested in pursuing their accreditation in public relations. The series of classes will help prepare chapter candidates for the APR Readiness Review and computer-based accreditation exam.

Facilitated by accredited chapter members, the series will focus on the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) tested, including strategic planning, publics and public opinion, research, communication models and theory, law and ethics, crisis communications and more.
