Reputation Management

The speaker for the March 19 meeting of the Arkansas Chapter of PRSA is Cindy Droog, APR. Droog's topic will be how the complex relationship between public relations, digital engagement, market research, innovation and strong in-country relationships is essential to reputation management and the bottom line.

Droog, a senior public relations strategist for Amway, is an accredited public relations practitioner focused on reputation management and awareness-building on the Web, including on- and off-domain strategy, corporate blogging and community management strategy, conversational marketing, Web copywriting, social networking strategy and execution, media relations and executive communications.

A former professor of public relations at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich., Droog has also served as vice president of a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based public relations firm, and public relations counsel for many companies in industries like residential furniture, publishing, manufacturing and technology.

Droog is an active member of the Grand Rapids, Mich. community where she lives with her husband and two young sons.
